I know on the guitar there are 5 positions for the pentatonic scale,
with each starting with one of ACDEG, but how would I know if I'm
playing the g minor pentatonic or g major? I'm confused about how one
would utilize these positions to play the same scale on different
parts of the neck.
Also, what's the difference between the major pentatonic and minor
pentatonic, and how does that relate to the positions?
